If we have analyzed packet captures in Ethernet networks, we know it can get cumbersome very quick. Given that 60 to 90% of the traffic in the air is comprised of management and control frames, Wi-Fi networks add complexity to packet analysis. Understanding the flow and structure of packets in Wi-Fi will simplify troubleshooting and will give us a better understanding of this complex 802.11 standard.
uring this one hour session, we will take a deep dive into the world of packet analysis for Wi-Fi networks. Live captures will give the audience a better understating of what is happening in the air during Wi-Fi transmissions.
